The Minister of Industry Rozeta Hajdari and the General Director of the Agency for Investments and Enterprise Support Zef Dedaj launched today the preliminary list of 167 beneficiary enterprises in the grant scheme for the purchase of machinery for micro, small and medium enterprises.

The communique states that MINT, through the Agency for Investments and Enterprise Support in Kosovo (KIESA), on March 27, 2024 launched the grant scheme for the purchase of machinery for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, with manufacturing and processing activities in priority sectors. industrial.

Through the e-Kosova platform, a total of 560 applications have been received from local manufacturing and processing businesses, of which the evaluation committee has announced that 167 companies meet the legal criteria and the objectives of the Industrial Policy 2030.

In order to benefit all 167 manufacturing/processing enterprises, which have been qualified according to the public call with a direct positive impact on the gross domestic product, MINT, with a transfer request to the Ministry of Finance, has increased the value from 1.7 million euros as it was at the beginning , which will support 60 micro, small and medium enterprises from the preliminary list of 167 enterprises, in a total value of 4.4 million euros, the communiqué states.

KIESA has published the preliminary list of 167 profitable micro, small and medium enterprises, with production and processing activities in the growing priority industrial sectors.

The beneficiary enterprises are from the sectors food products processing, beverage production/processing, textile, clothing and leather production/processing, wood and furniture production/processing, rubber and plastic products production/processing, mineral products production/processing non-metallic, manufacturing/processing of metals and manufacturing of fabricated metal products.

While the beneficiary enterprises are: Lot 1 - micro enterprises, with up to 9 employees, have a profit value of 20 thousand euros, where a total of 75 enterprises have benefited, with a total value of 1 million 363 thousand 198 euros, Lot 2 - enterprises of small enterprises, with 10 to 49 employees, have a profit value of 35 thousand euros, where a total of 76 enterprises have benefited, in a total value of 2 million 420 thousand 259 euros, Lot 3 - medium enterprises, with 50 to 249 employees 50 workers have a benefit value of 16 thousand euros, where a total of 661 companies have benefited in a total value of 014 thousand and XNUMX euros.

Otherwise, the Industrial Policy 2030 aims to transform the domestic industry into a more globally integrated industry that is able to produce high value-added products and provide employment to the youth.
