448 policemen of the 60th generation of the Police of the Republic of Kosovo have graduated.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that the police is increasing and strengthening its ranks, being at the highest level of duty for the rule of law and preserving the sovereignty and integrity of the country.

Kurti emphasized that the Kosovo Police this year marks the 25th anniversary of its establishment, promoting the best values of our society.

"Our police is increasing and strengthening its ranks, thus being at the highest level of duty in the implementation of its mission for the protection of citizens, the rule of law and order and the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our Republic. This year, the Kosovo Police marks the 25th anniversary of its establishment, just as our country marks the 25th anniversary of liberation. A quarter of a century of freedom, a quarter of a century of dedicated service to all and without distinction. She has promoted the good values of our society and broken the unjust barriers that coincide with the duty and service of members of the Kosovo Police. I am very happy that even in this generation of the 448 cadets who graduate today, every fifth one is a woman and from today on they will receive the title of police officers.... Just like in every other generation, even today cadets graduate from the ranks of communities living in Kosovo, while a special competition has also been opened for communities to become part of the Kosovo Police", said Kurti.

Minister of Internal Affairs, Jelal Sveçla said that the police of our country with their professionalism have managed to raise this institution as the most reliable for the citizens of Kosovo.

He emphasized that service to the country is never enough when we remember the continuous sacrifice of our people for freedom.

The General Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, said that the graduation of this generation shows their commitment to overcome all challenges to become part of the Kosovo Police.

Hoxha said that police work is a sacred and noble mission, where one must dedicate oneself to the service to the citizen, the state and the service to the police organization.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the 60th generation of the Kosovo Police, Florian Shala, said that this moment of graduation is proof of dedication and efforts to fulfill the tasks that await them with honor and dignity.

He promised that they will work with dedication to maintain the trust that citizens have in the Kosovo Police.
