The president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, met in France the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osman, with whom they discussed the development of football in Kosovo, while he said that he felt privileged to have met the first of the Republic of Kosovo.

"It was a privilege to welcome the President of the Republic of ?? of Kosovo, Dr Vjosa Osmani, at the FIFA office in Paris. Previously I had the honor to meet Dr. Osman during my visit to her beautiful country in 2022, and this was an excellent opportunity to continue those discussions", said the head of FIFA.

"We talked about how football can bring people together and we saw plans to continue improving the sports infrastructure in Kosovo, which will support the country's talented young players in realizing their potential. The Kosovo Football Federation has made excellent use of the FIFA Forward program and Dr Osmani clearly understands the importance of government support in the development of football to provide more opportunities for girls and boys to play our wonderful sport", he wrote in Infantino social networks.
