In a traffic accident that happened a year ago on the highway in Slavonski Brod in Croatia, 10 people died and 45 others were injured on the bus with Kosovo license plates

There were 67 passengers on the bus, including children and two drivers, and unfortunately 9 passengers and one driver lost their lives.

The bus had left from Frankfurt, Germany, towards Pristina and belonged to a company from Kosovo. He had an accident on the A3 Zagreb - Lipovac highway.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with some of the ministers, has visited some of the survivors in Croatian hospitals, while the ambassador of Kosovo in Zagreb, Gëzim Kasapolli, has previously been to the regional hospital in Slavonski Brod.

According to the Croatian media, the drivers of the bus from Kosovo that was carrying emigrants from Frankfurt to Pristina had rested in Bregana for half an hour before the accident. There they were changed and the other driver took over the driving of the bus. It is assumed that the accident was caused by driver fatigue.

President Vjosa Osmani had announced a day of mourning in Kosovo, due to this tragic accident.
