The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, at the invitation of the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron and the President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, has traveled to Paris to participate alongside many world leaders in the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games. 2024, and to support the 9 athletes who will represent Kosovo in these Games.

On this occasion, President Osmani emphasized that for Kosovo, participation in the Olympic Games represents the culmination of the hard work, dedication and determination of our athletes.

"It is a proof of the stability of our state and the ability to rise above the challenges and to shine on the world stage", emphasized President Osmani.

As part of the visit to Paris, President Osmani will participate in the "Sports for sustainable development" Summit, which is organized by the President of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron.

During her stay in Paris, President Osmani accompanied by the first gentleman, Prindon Sadriu, are invited to the reception organized by the President of France at the Elysee Palace and at the same time they will attend the presentation of the athletes of the Republic of Kosovo at the Trocadero. They are also invited to the dinner organized by the President of the International Olympic Committee.

Kosovo will be represented at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with 9 athletes in several sports disciplines.
