A traffic accident happened today in Gjakovë where three people were injured as a result.

Two cars were involved in the accident, one of them belonging to the Police.

The news for KosovaPress was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Police for the region of Gjakova, Sheremet Elezaj.

"Today the police responded to a case where a family member was transporting a victim who was suspected of suicide. During the escort on "Gaspë Karaqi" street in Gjakovë, the police car and the car transporting the victim were involved in an accident. So far, three people have requested medical help (two police officers and one citizen)", said Elezaj.

Meanwhile, regarding the case, the IPK was also notified, in coordination with whom the case will be proceeded with.
