US President Joe Biden, who recently announced his withdrawal from the election race, will focus on geopolitical issues - Ukraine and the Middle East - until the end of his term.

This was reported by the Financial Times, Ukrinform reports.

According to the Financial Times, one of the main priorities for Biden will be to secure guarantees of maximum support for Ukraine if Donald Trump wins the presidential election in November. After all, he has already promised to freeze military aid to Ukraine unless it negotiates with Russia.

At the same time, US officials and analysts believe it is unlikely that the Biden administration will be able to get another aid package approved by Congress before the end of the president's term.

However, Biden himself will be able to ensure the finalization of bilateral agreements with Ukraine and provide any assistance available to Kiev before the end of his term as the head of the White House, says the Financial Times.

Another topic Biden will focus on in the next six months is the Middle East, with an emphasis on ending the war between Israel and Hamas, notes the Financial Times.

As Ukrinform reported, US President Joe Biden announced on July 21 that he would not participate in the election race.
