The Minister of Education of Kosovo, Science, Technology and Innovation Arbërie Nagavci and her counterpart from Albania, Ogerta Manastirliu, have participated in the XVII nationwide Seminar with teachers of the Albanian Language and Albanian Culture in the Diaspora.
It was said there that the mission of these teachers requires commitment and hard work at all levels."Dear teachers of the diaspora, I am really excited to see you here, all together united in the main goal, in preserving and strengthening our beautiful Albanian language. In the transmission of the greatest values that our nation has, in fulfillment of a historical mission that each of us as Albanians has, that of our national identity and our beautiful Albanian language....Prishtina it would not be so beautiful on this very day if your presence had not motivated us so much together with Arbëria as two Ministers of Education who not only work together with our teams to strengthen the education system, but who are part of in our common mission, we also have the support of Albanian schools or classes wherever Albanians are", she said.
According to Minister Manastirliu, this seminar has gathered 150 teachers from the diaspora who are very professionally teaching the Albanian language to the new generations.
Minister Nagavci said that new ways must be found to cultivate the Albanian language among the younger generations in exile.
The Diaspora Seminar, which opened its proceedings on Thursday, brings together teachers of the Albanian language from all Albanian regions, who live and work in different countries of the world.
