Prime Minister Albin Kurti participated in the promotion of the monograph book about the massacre in Poklek, "House with blood on the walls", by the author Afrim Hysenaj, which was organized in the museum house of this massacre in Drenas.

Kurti said that the book summarizes memories of those killed and memorials for the living on the importance of historical memory and the necessity of justice.

"War crimes are not written down as the suffering, pain and losses of the Muqolli from Paklek, Caraku from Dritani (former Dobroshevci), Elshani from Lower Korrotica and Hoxha from Upper Korrotica families are not forgotten. The title of this book originates from the flow of blood of that crime, which brought us back here to the house with blood on the walls", said Kurti.

He also mentioned the Serbian project for the extermination of Albanians, "Horseshoe", and Serbia's efforts to eradicate the traces of the genocidal crime by burning the bodies of those killed in the Poklek massacre.

"Those collected ashes, that common grave is evidence of Serbia's genocide against the Albanian people of Kosovo. It is also a call for justice. This book is also permeated by the request of the family members for justice", said Kurti.

Prime Minister Kurti called for justice to be established in the country by bringing and punishing the perpetrators of war criminals even when they are absent.

On April 17, 1999, the criminal and terrorist forces of Serbia killed 53 unarmed Albanian civilians, from 75-year-olds to 6-month-old baby Liria to pregnant women.
