Hamas media also reported "more than 70 airstrikes" in several parts of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City in the north, the Nusirat refugee camp in the central part of the territory, and Khan Yunis and Rafah. in the south.

The Israeli military said on Friday that troops were continuing operations in Rafah, near the border with Egypt.
