Minister of Justice Albulena Haxhiu has welcomed the adoption of the new Law on the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo, saying that the long-awaited reform will reorganize the Prosecutorial Council by "eliminating corporatism and clan groups and increasing professionalism in the system."

The changes voted today in the second reading in the Assembly were made in full accordance with the recommendations of the Venice Commission, but also with the judgment of the Constitutional Court, Haxhiu wrote on Facebook.

She has expressed the commitment of the Ministry of Justice to the continuation of reforms in justice, making it reliable, unaffected and accessible to all citizens.
