CREW Prishtina with a warning for water abusers
Regional Water Company "Prishtina" has announced that the misuse of water is being done in different forms and that the supply of drinking water is becoming significantly more difficult.
"The misuse of water that is happening in various forms, such as watering gardens, fields, gardens, washing vehicles, etc., and at the same time illegal connection to the water supply network system, are significantly burdening the supply of drinking water" , the announcement states.
For these reasons, KRU Prishtina has warned that measures will be taken against any natural or legal person who misuses water.
"Any natural or legal person who in an unauthorized manner receives, uses, diverts, utilizes or benefits from the connections or reconnections in the water supply and sewerage network, without the permission or authorization of the service provider, will be disconnected from the network and the case will be processed to the court, according to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, article 314 (sentenced by a fine or imprisonment up to 3 years)", the announcement states.
