The review of the "Request of the deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Valentina Bunjaku - Rexhepi, regarding the monitoring of the Competition Authority of the Republic of Kosovo, regarding the implementation of the Law on public officials, has not been passed to the Committee for Economy.

This is because the deputies of the ruling party abstained, not supporting the same.

The MP, Bunjaku, has said that her request is to make extraordinary monitoring of the law for the Competition Authority by the Council of Civil Servants.

Meanwhile, Vetevendosje deputy, Armend Muja said that this needs to be clarified.

While, at the request of the majority of MPs, the Review of the Annual Report of the Public Enterprise of the System, Transmission and Market Operator - KOSTT Sh.a. has been removed from the agenda. for the year 2023.

This is due to the insufficient time they had to analyze the report.

The member of parliament from the ruling party, Jeta Statovci, said that according to the procedures and norms provided by the regulation of the Assembly, this point does not fulfill the necessary deadline for consideration by the members of parliament.

Meanwhile, the chairman of this commission, Ferat Shala, has justified this, saying that the KOSTT report came 15 minutes before the end of the legal deadline.

He said that another reason that this meeting was called is due to the fact that part of the KOSTT board members' mandate ends next week, adding that he does not agree with the fact that the intentions of certain groups that the board members do not come to report and leave to finish the mandate without closing the report.

On the other hand, the deputy from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Valentina Rexhepi-Bunajku, has proposed that this point be postponed to Thursday.
