The 23-year-old from Prishtina Gentiana Barbatovci, won the hearts of the jury with her character, energy and beauty, being declared the winner of the main prize "Winner" in the beauty contest "Miss Freedom of the World" among 25 models from different countries of the world.

Barbatovci tells KosovaPress that modeling is not the only job he deals with as he is employed at the Embassy of Kosovo in Slovenia. She says that she will promote Kosovo in the best possible way so that it is recognized by countries that are still reluctant to recognize the new reality.

The model originated from Prishtina, who was born and lives in Slovenia, describes the journey to the finals to be chosen as the winner of the modeling competition as difficult. She says that the competition was strong, but self-confidence and the support of her family helped her to emerge as the winner in the end.

"During this beauty contest, it was a bit of a difficult journey and many beautiful normal moments. We had to choose Miss Bikini, Miss Show and along the way the jury evaluated how we behaved and in the end I won. What do you think did you have more special for the jury to be chosen as a winner? You have to have an education in how you behave with people? Yes, I have felt it a lot were very good. But we women are a little jealous. Did you expect to be a winner? I always believed in myself, so I wanted to win like all the other girls having all (criteria) to win, but in the end the jury chooses the winner", said Barbatovci.

Gentiana Barbatovci, in addition to "Miss Freedom of the World", has also triumphed in "Miss Freedom Kosova", "Miss Press", "Miss Bestcocktail Dress", "Dresses by Walone" and many others. She says that she finds it difficult to juggle modeling and the work she does at the same time.

"Three years ago, I became a top model in Slovenia, then I wanted to be a little more international and I informed Shpejtim Zeneli, who has 'Miss Freedom of the World', then I won for 'Miss Freedom Kosovo' and then for 'Miss Freedom World'...I have also won 'MissPress', 'Miss Bestcoctail Dress', 'Dresses by Walone', 'AKB'... Can you tell us more about your work experience and how you can relate modeling with the work part? Yes, I work at the Embassy of Kosovo in Slovenia. It's a bit difficult because I work there five days a week and then when I have time to come to Kosovo for modeling, it's difficult, but I do it," says Barbatovci.

Filled with pride and dedication to her country, Barbatovci says she will promote Kosovo in the Philippines and other countries, so that it is recognized as a state.

"Now I will go to the Philippines to promote Kosovo so that the Philippines recognizes Kosovo as a state and to show all other countries that Kosovo is the best," said Barbatovci.

The 23-year-old says that during her path as a model, the only support she found was from her family.

"It's normal that I had, but you have to be strong to continue...Did you have support from family and society? Yes, I had a lot of support from family, not so much from society...They thought that I wouldn't I arrive", said Barbatovci.

Despite being born and raised outside of Kosovo, Barbatovci shows that he has a deep connection with Pristina and plans to return in the future to live and contribute to the capital.

The final of the beauty contest "Miss Freedom of the World" was held on June 16, where more than 25 beauties from different countries of the world participated.
