The University Clinical Center of Kosovo (KKUK) announces that despite the heavy rains and the impossibility of processing water from the sewage network, no damage to medical devices and other material damages have been recorded so far.

According to an announcement, the water mainly penetrated the floors of some clinics, but after immediate measures, the medical equipment was not endangered.

"As for the Pulmonology Clinic, the water has been removed from the basement and the static X-ray has been removed, without damage. Meanwhile, the clinic has a mobile X-ray and uses the X-rays of the Radiology Clinic. The work is continuing in the other clinics, and the KKUK, since yesterday, has engaged all the technical capacities and health staff of the clinics, to overcome the situation after the rains. Fortunately, this situation has been overcome without damage to the equipment and other major material damages", the announcement states.
