Agim Ramadani was an excellent military strategist and a leader with a clear vision for a free and democratic Kosovo.

This was said at the memorial academy organized by the Consulate of Kosovo in Zurich, in the place where the hero acted for Kosovo and left to fight to the death in the Battle of Koshare.

The head of Kosovar diplomacy, Donika Gërvalla, said that the commander of the 138th Brigade

Agim Ramadan will forever remain a symbol of glory and bravery in national history.

"Agim Ramadani was not only an excellent soldier, strategist and warrior, he was an artist, writer and painter who loved his culture and people with all his heart. When Kosovo needed it, he left behind not only Switzerland, but also art and poetry and took up arms, convinced that freedom is the highest value worth fighting for," said Gërvalla.

Minister Gërvalla said that in the Battle of Koshare, Agimi showed unparalleled bravery and extraordinary strategy before on April 11, 1999, he fell at the forefront of the liberation front where the infamous border stone was removed forever.

"The work, determination and bravery of Agim Ramadan and all the heroes who gave their lives for the freedom of Kosovo will always be a guide for our future", said Gërvalla.

Meanwhile, the fellow fighters of the hero Agim Ramadani, shared memories from their liberation war, describing the hero as a man with rare human values ​​and determined to live up to the legacy of the martyrs for the liberation of Kosovo.

The academy was attended by emigrants from Switzerland, the ambassador of Kosovo in Switzerland, Mentor Latifi, the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, former commander of Brigade 138 "Agim Ramadani", Rrustem Berisha, family members and comrades of the hero and representatives of various organizations and associations.
