The Deputy Minister of Justice, Vigan Qorrolli, accuses the Constitutional Court that for political purposes it is delaying the decision-making on the draft law on the state bureau for the verification and confiscation of unjustifiable assets.

He says that until votes are secured in the Assembly for the vetting, they will approve the law on the integrity and status of judges. However, according to him, there is resistance from the Prosecution Council and the Judicial Council for the adoption of this law.

The second in the justice department says that the government's criticism of the justice system does not represent interference in their work, despite the remarks in international reports.

Qorrolli in an interview for KosovaPress says that the double votes of the communities in the Assembly for the constitutional changes have suspended the vetting in justice. He says that plan 'b' is the adoption of the law on the integrity and status of judges, where performance and integrity would be evaluated on a continuous basis.

Qorrolli has expressed his belief that the reform in the Prosecutorial Council will be realized and that the new law on the KPK that has passed the first reading is in accordance with the Constitution.

Qorrolli declares that the opposition is using the Constitution to slow down justice reforms.

Qorrolli addresses the criticism of the Constitutionalist regarding the delays for the review of the draft law for the bureau.

According to him, politics has the right to comment on the justice system and such issues do not constitute interference in justice.
