Prime Minister Albin Kurti participated today in the promotion of the book "Kosovo War 1997-1999: A Selected Bibliography", by authors Durim Abdullahu and Davjol Ndoja, held at the National Library of Kosovo.

On this occasion, Kurti said that many books have been written about the war in Kosovo, but this is the first book written about the books about the war in Kosovo.

In the book, 7.700 books about the Kosovo war are recorded and this large number, Kurti said, made us reflect even more since only 600 of all these books were written by Albanian authors, which means that the rest, over 7.000 books have been written by international authors.

Out of a total of 7.700 books about the Kosovo war, some have been translated into 28 different languages. 

The authors of the book, Abdullahu and Ndoja, have identified and registered them by extracting them from 45 mostly national libraries, from 43 different countries, around the globe. 

Kurti congratulated the authors of the book saying that he strongly believes that as in this case, when a researcher from Prishtina and a researcher from Tirana, join forces, the result is such great and useful works for the nation and the future.
