The memorandum of understanding was signed for the new project of the British Embassy, ​​which aims to fight organized crime, corruption, and also to provide more security for the citizens of the country.

Participating in this ceremony were the British ambassador, Jonathan Hargreaves, the Director General of the Kosovo Police Gazmend Hoxha, the head of the Prosecution Council Ardian Hajdaraj, who promised to work together for the implementation of this memorandum.

The Chairman of the Prosecution Council, Ardian Hajdaraj, while evaluating this project as important, said that this cooperation will strengthen the capacities to investigate the most complex crimes.

Meanwhile, the British ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves expressed his happiness with the achievement of this cooperation. With this, he said that money laundering and corruption will also be fought, while he stated that they will work to make Kosovo a peaceful place for all citizens.

The Chief State Prosecutor, Besim Kelmendi, has also said that the implementation of this memorandum will be of great interest to the prosecutorial system of Kosovo and the Kosovo Police.

Meanwhile, the chief prosecutor of the Special Prosecution, Blerim Isufaj, expressed optimism that the objectives of the project will be successfully achieved.

On the other hand, the Director General of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, has pledged that this agreement will be fully implemented.
