The memorandum of understanding is signed for the new project of the British Embassy, ​​which aims to fight organized crime, corruption, and also to provide more security for the citizens of the country.

Participating in this ceremony were also the British ambassador, Jonathan Hargreaves, the Director General of the Kosovo Police Gazmend Hoxha, the head of the Prosecution Council Ardian Hajdaraj, who promised to work together for the implementation of this memorandum.

The head of the Prosecution Council, Ardian Hajdaraj, while evaluating this project as important, said that this cooperation will strengthen the capacities to investigate the most complex crimes.

Meanwhile, the British ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves expressed his happiness with the achievement of this cooperation. With this, he said that money laundering and corruption will also be fought, while he stated that they will work to make Kosovo a peaceful place for all citizens.

The Chief State Prosecutor, Besim Kelmendi, has also said that the implementation of this memorandum will be in the interest of all the citizens of the country.

On the other hand, the Director General of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, has pledged that this agreement will be fully implemented.
