The Commission for Education, Science, Technology, Innovation, Culture, Youth and Sports has failed to examine the Draft Law on school textbooks, because the opposition has boycotted the commission.

According to the opposition, they will not participate in this commission for the review of the "Smuggled Law".

In this committee, only a few amendments voted by the majority passed, amendments which were proposed from last week.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci, made a statement to the media regarding the draft law on school textbooks. She said that there is a missing law in education and that the existing bill is deficient.

She said that the main goal is to improve the quality of the texts and that with this change the quality of education will also be raised.

According to Nagavac, the main objective of this government is the finalization of this draft law.

Minister Nagavci called on all deputies to support this draft law.
