The deputy of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Adnan Rrustemi, said that there is no basis for investigating the contracts, which is what the opposition is demanding. According to him, the opposition parties are trying to throw mud on the Kurti Government with investigative commissions. While mentioning the amounts of single-source contracts in the municipalities where the opposition leads, Rrustemi said that these parties are turning a blind eye to the institutions they govern.

In the extraordinary session for the establishment of the investigative commission for single-source contracts, Rrustemi said that there is nothing suspicious in these contracts.

He said that this tendering procedure has been used a lot in past governments.

On behalf of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Rrustemi added that in the municipalities where the opposition is leading, there are more single-source contracts than in the institutions that are being led by the government.
