The EU-Kosovo Association Stabilization Parliamentary Commission, in the second work session, approved a series of recommendations, among others, the support of the EU member states is requested for Kosovo's application to the Council of Europe. Also, the recommendation was approved asking the EU to ask Serbia to hand over the criminals responsible for the attack on September 24, where the police sergeant, the hero Afrim Bunjaku, was killed.
In addition, it was emphasized that the euro is the only official currency in Kosovo, however, the government of Kosovo was encouraged to offer solutions for its implementation without difficulties to the representatives of the Serbian community.
The approval of these recommendations was also welcomed by the other chairman of the commission, the Austrian MEP, Lukas Mandl.
Deputies from the Assembly of Kosovo and also members of the European Parliament who were part of the 11th meeting of the EU-Kosovo Association Stabilization Parliamentary Committee voted in favor of them./KosovaPress/
