The International Airport of Pristina "Adem Jashari" has served 3 million 424 thousand 883 travelers during the year 2023, according to the statistics collected by the operator LKIA. This number of passengers is 14 percent higher than the number of passengers served at this airport in 2022 (2,994,560).

The communique states that the month of August had the highest number with a total of 411,162 travelers, followed by the month of July with 396,700 travelers, while the lowest traffic was during the month of February with 193,116 travelers, followed by the month of March with 221,760 travelers.

"During 2023, 11,639 flight departures were made, or 7% more than last year. The months of August and July stood out with the most flights, with 1,389 and 1,365 flight departures. On the other hand, the month of February had the fewest flight departures, 619", the communiqué states.

It is further said that among the destinations, Basel (BSL/MLH), Zurich and Düsseldorf stand out with the most travelers. Of the states, as regards the general traffic from Prishtina, Switzerland is the first followed by Germany, Turkey, Austria and Great Britain.

At the end, it is said that regarding further destinations from Pristina, New York (JFK) is the main destination, followed by New Jersey (Newark International), Chicago (O'Hare), Frankfurt, Brussels, Toronto and so on.
