Last night, the Albanian national team qualified for the Euro 2024 European Championship as the leader of the group.

Albania drew 0:0 at the "Air Albania" stadium with the Faroe Islands, where this point was enough to close Group E in the first position, with the same quota of points (15) as the Czech Republic in second place, reports KosovaPress.

The striker from Kosovo, Mirlind Daku, started last night's match from the first minute, who played 74 minutes before being replaced by Sokol Cikalleshi.

The jersey that Daku sweated during last night's match was taken by coach Tahir Batatina's son, Meris Batatina.

The news was announced by Tahir Batatina himself, who said that Daku had asked him to be present in last night's match, together with his two sons.

"I was invited together with my two sons to the last match in the qualifiers of the Albanian National Team, which was also a festive night. Precisely for this reason, the former footballer of the Llapi team, Mirlind Daku, expressed his wish that in this big celebration, I, together with my two sons, would be near him, where we congratulated him for his appearance in the National Team and in the team where he plays .

Mirlindi's wish was to give the shirt he wore yesterday with the Albanian National Team and the success achieved with it, only to the Batatina family, specifically to my little son, Merisi", wrote Batatina on Facebook, among other things.
