Inter defender Benjamin Pavard will be sidelined for around a month after straining his left knee in Saturday's 2-1 win over Atalanta, the Inter team announced today.

The 27-year-old of former Lille, Stuttgart and Bayern Munich teams will have to wear a knee brace for three or four weeks before starting rehabilitation work, the Milanese club announced.

Pavard will miss Wednesday's Champions League trip to Salzburg as well as France's final two Euro 2024 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Greece. / ANSA
