The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the Ambassador of the United States of America, Jeff Hovenier, have signed an agreement on security measures for the protection of classified information. With this agreement, as stated, classified information will be stored and not disclosed, except to those who possess a security clearance.
After signing this agreement, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the concept of national security is a guide for responsible governance.Kurti added that this agreement foresees the actions of both parties in relation to the lost information and the manner of disposal of the classified information.
Ambassador Jeff Hovenier also said that this agreement advances Kosovo's ability to protect sovereignty and territorial integrity, through the exchange of information with the United States of America.
