On Wednesday, the Kosovo Police seized 280 packages of medicinal drugs in Prizren, originating from Serbia, Albania and Turkey, worth 3 euros.

The Unit for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption in Prizren, after receiving information that a pharmacy in Prizren has drugs without labels, has begun to handle the information from a police point of view.

The Kosovo Police announces that based on this information, investigative actions have been carried out, and today, together with the Pharmaceutical Inspectorate, an inspection was also carried out in this pharmacy.

"During the inspection, pharmacist CY (year of birth 1991, Kosovar female), who is also the owner of the pharmacy, did not provide evidence about the origin of a significant amount of drugs, which medicinal drugs were seized by the Pharmaceutical Inspectorate. The amount of medicinal drugs seized is a total of 280 packages of different medicinal drugs, originating from Serbia, Albania and Turkey, in the value of 3200 (three thousand two hundred) euros", the announcement states.

With the recommendation of the competent prosecutor, the case continues to be investigated in regular procedure.
