The London team Arsenal has opened the year 2022 not in the best possible way.

Mikel Arteta's team lost today with a narrow result of 2:1 against the English champion Manchester City, reports KosovaPress.

Arsenal for more than half an hour of the game was with one less player on the field, after the penalty with two yellows, respectively with a red card of the Brazilian defender Gabriel in the 59th minute of the match.

In fact, in the 57th minute, Gabriel is penalized with a yellow card after kicking the penalty spot as a sign of protest, and two minutes later he is penalized with the second yellow card after an interference with Gabriel Jesus.

This red card of Gabriel has made history, as Arsenal become the first English team to be punished a full 100 times with red cards in the English Premier League.
