Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes has broken his silence after his red card in today's game against Manchester City.

"The Gunners" were the first to take the lead today through Kiern Tierney's assist, which was concretized with a goal by winger Bukayo Saka, reports KosovaPress.

In the second half, within the 16-meter area, midfielder Granit Xhaka committed a foul, where Riyad Mahrez converted it with a goal, equalizing the result at 1:1 for City.

But after City's penalty, Arsenal's Brazilian defender Gabriel kicked the penalty spot in protest where he was shown a yellow card, while two minutes later he was shown a second yellow card for a tackle on striker Gabriel Jesus.

After this red card of Gabriel, Pep Guardiola's team managed to secure the three points, where the midfielder Rodri scored the winning goal for City in the 90'+3 minutes of extra time.

Immediately after the match ended, defender Gabriel reacted on his "Twitter" account, admitting that today's loss is hardly acceptable.

"It's hard to accept, but only God knows everything. I am proud to be part of this team. Fighting spirit, we will continue to work together, fight to the end. He will run for this team until he dies. Let's continue to improve in 2022", Gabriel wrote on Twitter.
