Everton confirm first transfer for 2022

Everton has completed the transfer of defender Vitaliy Mykolenko from Dynamo Kyiv, where the news was confirmed by the English club itself.

Mykolenko has reached personal terms with Everton, where he has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at Goodison Park until 2026.

The 22-year-old defender becomes Everton's first transfer in this January transfer window, after impressing with his good performances for the club and his national team, reports KosovaPress.

"Moving to Everton is a big and important step in my life. I always dreamed of playing in the Premier League. English football is the place where this game was born and I think it will suit me very well", said Mykolenko.

This season, Ukrainian defender Mykolenko has managed to make 21 appearances in all competitions for his now former club Dynamo Kyiv, registering three assists to his name.
