Arsenal host Tottenham in the North London derby this evening. Mikel Arteta's side will be hoping to capitalise on the points dropped by the teams around them on Tuesday night. A win for the Gunners would take them four points clear of leaders Liverpool.
However, Arsenal go into the competition without a win in three games. The north Londoners were knocked out of the FA Cup at home to Manchester United at the weekend after missing a penalty at the Emirates. That result was followed by a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final and a draw with Brighton in the Premier League.
Tottenham make the short trip to Arsenal aiming for a third successive win in all competitions. After a morale-boosting win over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-finals, Spurs unconvincingly reached the fourth round of the FA Cup with an extra-time win over non-league Tamworth.
Spurs have not won at the Emirates in the Premier League since 2010.
The match starts at 21:00 and these are the possible formations:Arsenal: Raya; Partey, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Merino, Rice; Trossard, Odegaard, Martinelli, Havertz.
Tottenham: Kinsky; Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Spence; Bissouma, Bergvall, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son.
