Three people suspected of serious theft are arrested

The Kosovo police have arrested three people suspected of serious theft at the customs terminal in the area of Han i Elez.
It is about persons with the initials AR aged 42, RR aged 27 and IL aged 38.
"Meanwhile, the NL person suspected of the criminal offense of 'Purchasing, accepting or concealing items obtained by committing a criminal offence', has been released and will be followed in a regular procedure", the Police announcement states.
The police was informed about this case on November 25 of last year.
After arriving at the scene, the police investigators carried out the necessary examinations and the initial investigations revealed that an unknown person, with the aim of obtaining property illegally, had forcibly entered one of the facilities of the customs terminal.
There, according to the Police, metal parts containing copper were stolen.
"After intensive investigative work, today, on 09.01.2025, the police managed to identify and arrest three people suspected of this criminal offense. After the interview, by decision of the State Prosecutor, they were detained for 48 hours", the Police announcement states.
