Marko Rošić, one of those convicted for the murder of Serbian politician Oliver Ivanović, has escaped from home.

The news for KosovaPress was confirmed by the deputy director of the Police for the North region, Veton Elshani.

"Yes, he escaped. He was at home." Elshani said briefly.

On June 28, the Special Department of the Basic Court in Pristina sentenced the four accused for the murder of the Serbian politician, Oliver Ivanovic, to 22 years in prison.

Among those convicted is Marko Roshiq for "participation or organization of a criminal group" related to "serious murder", who was sentenced to 10 years in prison and a 10 euro fine.

Convicted for the murder of Oliver Ivanovic are also three other people.
