Donald Trump's victory in the US elections also brought his wife Melania to the attention of the media.

She is admired for her looks and physical shape even though she is 54 years old.

America's first lady has revealed in her memoir what food she never eats while traveling.

"I have made it clear that I do not eat raw fish," she said.

When she and Donald Trump were on an official visit to Japan, she asked the staff not to serve her sushi at the table.

"However, I try to try the local cuisine whenever possible. That dinner in Tokyo was a brilliant mix of flavors and textures, a wonderful representation of Japanese cuisine. It was in line with my preferences," she wrote.

Melania follows a healthy diet and does not like diets. A few years ago, in an interview for "GQ" magazine, he said that he starts the day with a smoothie or oatmeal for breakfast.

Her goal is to consume at least seven servings of fruit a day, but she doesn't stop herself from sweets. Even though I eat healthy, sometimes I enjoy a piece of chocolate, ice cream or a soda.

"I don't have any special food for between meals that I always eat. If I want to eat something, I eat fruit or some chocolate. I think it is important for the body. It's good to indulge your cravings, as long as you balance it with a healthy diet," she once said.

For lunch, he usually eats different salads, while for dinner meat and vegetables. Melania drinks a lot of water to stay hydrated and never overindulges in fatty or high-calorie foods.

To keep in shape, she exercises every day at home, usually in the morning.

The first lady said in her book published this year that she does pilates, walks around the house with weights on her ankles and plays tennis. After giving birth to her son, Barron, the model revealed that a healthy diet and Pilates sessions two to three times a week helped her get back in shape.
