Due to the political situation in the country, Serbia may lose the license for the EXPO 2027 special exhibition, lawyer Aleksandar Olenik, member of the leadership of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV), wrote on the social network X, with the warning that this was not information. verified.
Along with his announcement, he also attached an alleged document in which he listed five reasons for political instability that could lead to the loss of the EXPO license, Danas reports.
Among them are: 1) large-scale civil unrest; 2) corruption and bad management that can lead to the outsourcing of jobs to unprofessional companies and thus endanger public safety; 3) suppression of civil liberties, including the persecution of journalists and activists.
The fourth reason for the eventual withdrawal of the license is security risks, i.e. the risk of terrorism, but also other activities that may endanger participants and guests.
The fifth possible reason for the cancellation of Serbia's license for the organization of the EXPO 2027 special exhibition is the poor organization of works that would cause delays in meeting the deadlines for infrastructure solutions, says the English-language document, which was published in network X. from Olenik./
