Last night around midnight, about 28 people were on a bus belonging to a company from Kosovo, which under unclear circumstances slid off the road into a canal and onto a grassy area on the A1 highway at Donja Zdenčina in Croatia.
There were 26 people on the bus and two drivers who sent out a dramatic call for help and that all passengers needed to be freed from the overturned bus.
The police, ambulance and fire brigade of Zagreb arrived very quickly at the scene and with maximum care and attention they removed all the people from the driver's door. According to information from Jutarnji list, two people reported minor injuries, writes the Croatian newspaper Jutarnji list.
In addition to people, luggage was also removed from the luggage compartments so that further care, after a police investigation, could be taken by the towing service.
The driver of the vehicle was subjected to a standard breathalyzer test. It is not known why he lost control of the wheel and fortunately the bus did not completely overturn. The exact amount of material damage is not yet known.News in update…
