KPA sold 37 assets worth over 1.5 million euros

The Kosovo Privatization Agency (AKP) today at the opening ceremony of sales offers no. 63 through the Liquidation method, announced the temporary winners for 37 assets of Social Enterprises in liquidation that were available for sale. KPA announces that the total value of these assets was over 1.5 million euros.

The communique states that the submission of offers by investors, the opening of offers and the publication of the results were done in a transparent manner, in front of the representatives of the media, the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo and the Chamber of Advocates of Kosovo, as well as the investors present.

"For 37 assets that were for sale, a total of 80 offers were accepted and the total value of the highest offers was €1,515,219", the communiqué states.

Muharrem Arifi, Deputy Executive Director - Operations at the Kosovo Privatization Agency, informed those present that so far 2,913 different assets have been privatized through the sale of assets of Social Enterprises under the Agency's administration.

Arifi said that a total of €783,632.386 has been collected in the Trust Funds so far.

Regarding the distribution of 20%, he said that the Agency is continuing with the approval of the lists of workers and the distribution of the amount of 20% of the proceeds from the sale of assets to the workers of social enterprises and so far €163,379.229 have been distributed. whereas the total number of 20% beneficiaries is 52,092 former workers.
