The agricultural and renewable energy fair is estimated to be one of the major and transformative projects with an investment of 20.2 million euros, in partnership with the German Government and GIZ. This initiative aims to strengthen agritourism and ecotourism, bringing benefits to farmers, entrepreneurs and rural communities.
This fair, which opened on Monday, will provide opportunities to further develop the aforementioned sectors.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo, Lulzim Rafuna has emphasized that these two sectors can cooperate to create sustainable models that increase agricultural production while reducing the environmental impact.
At the opening of this fair on Monday, he added that this year they have united the fields of agriculture and renewable energy, which he assessed as vital sectors for the economy of Kosovo.
On the other hand, the Minister of Agriculture, Faton Peci, said that the priority of this project is the promotion of organic foods with high nutritional value, which are a key element in agrotourism.
Meanwhile, he called on all farmers and entrepreneurs to take advantage of this great opportunity and engage in the information sessions that will be organized in every municipality of Kosovo.
The German ambassador to Kosovo, Joern Rohde, was also present at this fair, who appreciated the opening of this fair as a good opportunity.
This fair organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo, which will be open for three days, offers opportunities to bring together the latest developments in the agriculture and renewable energy sectors.
