The Democratic League of Kosovo today officially opened the campaign for the parliamentary elections of February 9, criticizing the current government for theft and mismanagement, while promising investments of billions of euros for the next four years.

On the occasion of the opening of the campaign, the LDK also presented its team of 110 candidates for deputies.

LDK prime minister candidate, Lumir Abdixhiku vowed that all the money stolen from the current government will be returned cent by cent, while accusing the latter of theft, propaganda, and attacks on the media and free speech.

In front of thousands of supporters, Abdixhiku declared that "in the republic we dream of, the prime minister does not place himself over the prosecution and does not defend the crime".

"Let's tell them out loud from this hall in every corner of Kosovo, let's tell them from corner to corner that you will return the stolen money cent by cent. Because February 9 is coming, change is coming," he said Abdixhiku.

In addition to these, the first of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku said that many Kosovar families had to seek healing in the region and the world, because according to him the state did not offer them the necessary care.

Among the cheers where the election campaign was officially opened, Abdixhiku it was promised that in the first week after taking the mandate of the prime minister of Kosovo, salaries will be increased by a coefficient of 150 for all state workers.

Candidate for prime minister from LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku among the promises, he emphasized that the gas plant will be built in Ferizaj to reduce problems with electricity.

As well, Abdixhiku said that five billion euro investments and five percent economic growth are planned in the political program of the LDK.

Abdixhiku promised the citizens that he will build new kindergartens, stadiums and opera and ballet theaters.

Among other things, he said that investments will also be made in security by increasing the number of policemen and soldiers.

The Democratic League of Kosovo will have number 124 in the elections of February 9, 2025.
