The candidate for prime minister from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku has asked the current Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, for a public confrontation to "consider ideas for the future."

This statement of Abdixhikut, came after Prime Minister Kurti mentioned the opposition during the campaign, saying that "they will rot in the opposition" and calling them "flies".

After the presentation of the capital's projects, Abdixhiku When asked how he evaluates these statements, he said that the LDK is not sinking into the "big swamp of spittle."

He added that this campaign will focus only on presenting Kosovo's future work.

"We are not here to be insulted, divided, and drowned in a big swamp of spit. We are here to present the future work of the Republic of Kosovo because we need to explain to our citizens what we stand for. I invite the outgoing Prime Minister to a public debate, let's weigh ideas for the future. We have several others to insult me, but I do not intend to insult him in this campaign," he said.
