The Kosovo Basketball Federation has organized the very important event "Laureates 2024", with a gala evening, where the best of 2024 were honored.

The main prizes were taken by Trepça's basketball player, Mikaile Tmusic, and Bashkimi's basketball player, Aulona Muhadri.

The men's awards were distributed by the President of the Kosovo Basketball Federation, Arben Fetahu, while for the women, the General Secretary of the FBK, Elvira Dushku and the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Daulina Osmani.

Tmusic won four trophies with Trepça during 2024, while Muhadri three trophies with Bashkimi.

They have thanked their teammates for their help, as well as the respective clubs and fans for their continued support.

The top 5 among women have entered: Arbnore Pëquku (KBF Bashkimi), Jeta Zeka (KBF Bashkimi/KBF Penza), Malvina Haziri (KBF Prishtina), Sara Vraniqi (KBF Penza/KBF Peja 03) and Aulona Muhadri.

Meanwhile, among the men in the Top 5: Dardan Kapiti (KB Trepça), Gëzim Morina (KB Golden Eagle Ylli), Muhamedali Janjeva (KB Sigal Prishtina), Valon Bunjaku (KB Golden Eagle Ylli/ KB Bashkimi) and Mikaile Tmusiq (Trepca).

The best team in the men's competition was declared KB Trepça, while the best team in the women's competition: KBF Bashkimi.

Lorik Kllokoqi has been announced as the coach of the year, after winning Division C with U18 women.

The hope of the year for boys and girls were Yll Kastrati (KB Bora/KB Kerasan) and Flutra Mehmeti (KBF Prishtina).

Ngadnjim Shabani has been declared the Judge of the Year, who is also an international judge.

The Sports Worker of the Year has been announced as Vullnet Sefaja, who is the president of Trepça, winning four trophies in one year and competing in the international arena.

Astera Tuhina (Washington State Cougars) has been announced as the basketball ambassador of Kosovo abroad.

There was also a special award for Veterans: Mithat Belegu for men and Xhevahire Mustafa for women.

Special award for Contributor of basketball, where Mezhit Sogojeva was honored.
