President Aleksandar Vuçiq addressed Serbian citizens tonight after the end of the largest protest in Serbian history.

He said the protest was unannounced, while there were a total of 56 injured.

"There were no victims or serious injuries. A total of 44 people are in the Emergency Room, 11 in the Zvezdara Clinical Hospital, one in Zemun, a total of 56 people, without serious injuries," he said. Vuçiq.

He says a young man was injured, but his life is not in danger, while 22 people have been arrested for various criminal offenses.

Vuçiq accused students of violence by throwing fireworks and stones at Pioneer Park.

"The tractors were destroyed. If it weren't for the tractors, they wouldn't have prevented the bloodshed. The tractors are there to stop the tide. When you have a mass of people, you have to have something to prevent a conflict with them. All the people who destroyed the tractors will be arrested and held accountable. We managed to keep the peace," he said. Vuçiq.
