The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuçiq has commented on the terrorist attack in Zubin Potok, saying that they have their doubts about the organization of this attack and that the investigations will show who gave the order.
Vuçiq in a press conference he said that "yesterday there were attempts for a severe hybrid attack on Serbia".
Despite the fact that the Police action resulted in 8 people and the confiscation of a large number of weapons, he said that he did not manage to hear many facts.
"Yesterday there was an attempt at a large and fierce hybrid attack on our country. As we have carefully followed everything that has been announced by Pristina officials and their international sponsors, as well as their media, we have not been able to hear many facts. No one would create such a structure. And we, as a serious country, did not deal with accusations. We didn't say, even today I don't say directly, ordered Kurt. We have certain doubts, the investigation will show who ordered it. We think we have some information about who the author could be," he said.
He also spoke about the action of the Kosovo Police, saying that "it was a show", because according to him, this is not how a serious investigation is conducted.
Otherwise, an explosion took place last night in the village of Varaga in the Municipality of Zubin Potok and damaged the water channel of Ibër-Lepenci.
The attack happened a few hours after the Kosovo Police announced that it has increased security measures at the country level.
This was done after there were several incidents during the last few days.
Criminal gangs with the support of official Belgrade are said to be behind this explosion in the north of the country.
After the attack, the Kosovo authorities said that 15 kilograms of explosives were used to destroy the channel.
The damage was considered serious and water supply interruptions were caused for several cities and also for the Kosovo Energy Corporation.
"It can be said freely the biggest act against the critical infrastructure since the end of the war in Kosovo", said the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla.
Russia Prishtina, in an emergency conference, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the attack was terrorist and organized by criminal gangs with the support of official Belgrade.
On Friday night, water was cut off for power plants and some municipalities. However, with the quick intervention in repairing the damage, it has been possible to supply the power plants with water.
