The Kosovo Volleyball Federation has suspended six players who were involved in the incident that occurred during the Kosovo Cup match between Peja and Ferizaj where there was a fight between the players and a group of fans.

In the announcement issued by FVK, it is stated that players Arlind Kabashi, Leotrim Mujaj, Agron Nikqi, Dardan Husaj, Kaltrim Berisha, and Gazmend Husaj have been suspended from all activities organized by FVK, including international ones

The Kosovo Volleyball Federation (FVK) expresses concern about the incident that occurred during the FVK Cup match between the Peja and Ferizaj teams. FVK has immediately started the procedures for dealing with this issue and is cooperating closely with the competent bodies for a fair and transparent solution.

In accordance with the regulations, the Commissioner of Competitions has decided that the six players involved in the incident:

 • Arlind Kabashi,

 • Leotrim Mujaj,

 • Agron Nikqi,

 • Dardan Husaj,

 • Kaltrim Berisha, and

 • Gazmend Husaj,

to be suspended from all activities organized by FVK, including international ones in cooperation with partner federations. This suspension remains in effect until the decision of the Disciplinary Committee", says the announcement of the FVK.
