The Tourism Office of the Municipality of Ulcinj, in cooperation with the Municipality of Peja, have today given a symbolic donation to the Center for Social Welfare of this municipality.

The donation for this center was mandarins, while with this act they have also promoted the fruit of Ulcinj.

The coordinator for events and manifestations in the Tourist Organization of Ulcinj, Arber Haxhibrahmi, told KosovaPress that this promotion of Ulcinj tourism is different this time, promoting their fruit, the mandarin.

Haxhibrahimi added that this donation was given as a result of brotherhood with the city of Peja, with which they will have further cooperation in the fields of culture, art and tourism.

"It is very special and very significant in our city. Let's make the presentation of this mandarin fruit together with the city of Peja. We have very good relations between the two cities and in the future you will be informed about other collaborations in terms of cultural, artistic and tourism cases. We thought this time not to do a different activity promoting the city, but this time we had fun promoting the fruit as well", he expressed.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the municipality of Peja, Faik Zekaj, said that this is only the beginning of the cooperation with the Municipality of Ulcinj, who appreciated this symbolic donation.

"A symbolic donation, that we as a municipality are fraternized with the Municipality of Ulcinj. We have decided to give them for social occasions because it is considered a part of luxury and maybe they have the opportunity to buy them. This is only part of the beginning of the cooperation. A small initiative that we will have other joint social, cultural and sports projects", said Zekaj.

After the Municipality of Peja, the Tourism Organization of Ulcinj will donate to the Municipality of Deçan and tomorrow to the Municipality of Pristina, visiting the old people's home.
