The Border Police and the Marine Police Unit in Saranda helped a tourist from Ukraine who was stuck on some rocks while swimming and could not return to shore because of the waves.

"After being informed by a Ukrainian citizen, who was concerned after his wife had entered Paskyrave beach, Manastir, to swim and was not returning to the shore, the Border Police Services and the Maritime Police Unit in Saranda immediately went to the place of provided and organized the actions together with the land patrols. As a result of these actions, the Ukrainian citizen was located north of Paskyrat beach, who was stuck on some rocks and could not continue swimming to get to the shore due to the bad weather bad", says the announcement.
