US President Donald Trump has met French leader Emmanuel Macron at the White House on the third anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and as European leaders "navigate the US president's changing foreign policy on the war," CNN writes.

Trump said Zelensky "could come" to Washington this week or next as the two countries are "very close" to reaching an agreement on a rare earth minerals deal.
