Today is the third day of the International Tourism Fair 'Kosova 2024', organized for the third year in a row by the Kosovo Tourism Union, where more than 300 businesses from 15 different countries of the region and Europe are participating, with offers and their exclusivities for visitors.

The purpose of this fair is to promote tourism in Kosovo as much as possible, thus increasing the number of visitors, which also affects the growth of the economic development of our country and employment opportunities.

In this fair, among many businesses, some tourist agencies such as: "Fibula", "Prime", "Plazh.com", "Adria Tours", and many others are participating.

These agencies expect that this year they will break new records in terms of their successes, for which they say that with the liberalization of Kosovo visas, the demand of clients to travel has increased tremendously.

Until the trip to Bulgaria, directly from Prishtina was promoted as the main innovation for this year.

The owner of the "Fibula" Agency in Kosovo and Albania, Shpëtim Turku, in a statement for KosovaPress, said that the first quarter of this year had a greater flow of customers compared to previous years. He cited Greece, Spain, Italy and France as the most requested places by customers to visit.

New for this year, Turku mentioned the flight once a week to Bulgaria.

He emphasized that Fibula's offers are different and they try to fit all "pockets" of customers.

Meanwhile, Besnik Vathi from Tour Operator "Plazh.com" in Albania said that with the liberalization of visas, a great opportunity has been opened for Kosovar tourists.

He said they organize trips to 60 different countries around the world, including Barcelona, ​​Athens, Tokyo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and others.

As far as the main advantage of these trips organized by "Plazh.com", Vathi mentioned the fact that customers can travel in groups, which affects the price reduction.

Meanwhile, the tourist agency "Prime Travel" is planning to bring up to 7 foreign tourists to Kosovo within the year, by signing a five-year contract with a large European operator.

The owner of "Prime Travel", Fisnik Dragusha, told KosovaPress that they have a tour operator license in Switzerland, from where they reached this contract.

He emphasized that these tourists will come to visit from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Also, the representative of the tourist agency "Adria Tours", Granit Bajra, said that the number of citizens sent to Greece and Bulgaria has tripled, compared to last year.

Bajra also mentioned Bulgaria as the newest and most important destination for this year.

For KosovaPress, he emphasized that they brought over 60 hotels from Bulgaria and Greece to this fair, which presented their offers.

In addition to tourist agencies, at the International Tourism Fair 'Kosova 2024', the newest hotel in Shengjin "Great White Hotel", located at Rana e Hedhun, presented their offers.

The manager of "Great White", which will open on May 1, Keler Sufi indicated that this hotel consists of 60 rooms and that their price during the summer season starts from 120 euros, including breakfast, swimming pool and other details of accommodation. . For KosovaPress, he emphasized that they have high expectations for this year in terms of visitors to this hotel.

Meanwhile, the organization of this fair was done by the chairman of the Kosovo Tourism Union, Baki Hoti, for which he said that the flow of visitors this year has exceeded all expectations.

He indicated that for the first time the state of Malta is participating in this fair with its products.

Hoti emphasized that during these three days that the fair lasts, all products are discounted from 20 to 45 percent.

Hoti expressed his happiness for holding this fair, because through it the image of Kosovo is shown.
