The Government of Kosovo held an electronic meeting today in which it approved a number of important decisions.

The government cabinet has approved the draft law for the ratification of the amendment number of the financial agreement between Kosovo and the EU for the IPA Program 2017, the first part, as well as the draft law for the ratification of the amendment number three of the financial agreement between Kosovo and the EU for the IPA Program 2018 .

It also approved the request of the Association Animals Kosovo for financial support in the amount of 5 thousand euros for the treatment of the problem of homeless dogs in Kosovo.

The government has appointed the Ad hoc Commission of acceptance for the position of the senior management category: executive director of the National Qualifications Authority, composed of: Naim Gashi, director general of the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation, chairman; Venera Čerkini, Secretary General in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, member; Anita Kalanderi, General Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, member; Ardiana Krapi, acting head of the Human Resources Division in the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, member; and Agon Haxhikadrija, external expert, member.

He has also appointed the Ad hoc Admission Committee for the position of senior management category director of the Education and Professional Training Agency, composed of: Anita Kalanderi, general secretary in the Ministry of Justice, chairperson; Venera Čerkini, general secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, member; Naim Gashi, general director at the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation, member; Ardiana Krapi, acting head of the Human Resources Division in the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, member; Agon Haxhikadrija, External expert, member.

The National Program for Agriculture and Rural Development 2023-2027 was also approved at today's meeting. The recommendation of the Interministerial Committee for Strategic Investments was also approved to amend and supplement the Government's decision of 30.12.2020 on granting the Strategic Investor Status to the investment entity Cicavica Wind Farm 1 LLC

The Government has appointed KOSTT within the function of the market operator as the entity responsible for exercising the powers of the Renewable Energy Operator (REO), as well as has given consent for the exchange of plots between the Government of Kosovo and the Municipality of Rahovec, for the realization of of the 100 MW solar project in the Municipality of Rahovec, without changing the total surface area of ​​the parts of the plots.
